Where We Are
Understanding Our Differences is at an exciting juncture in its 40-year history. Our program has never been more necessary and with the help of digital resources we have the opportunity to expand our reach to 21st century learners like never before. Sharing the program widely has been a dream of our organization since its founding, and that dream can now be more fully realized through the power of technology.
Even without going fully digital, over the past decades and currently, our disability awareness program has been embraced and successfully implemented in many cities and towns in Massachusetts, in nearby states and far beyond.
Today our program is presented yearly to 3,000 students in the Newton, MA Public Schools alone, as well as by schools, school districts and organizations such as:
Boston – Curley K-8 School
Boston-area Jewish Day Schools
City Year Boston
Boston Public Health Commission
Rye Brook, NY
Alexis Miranda Foundation (Ghana)
Bluebells International School (New Delhi)
Romanian Children’s Relief
Program derivatives in Wayland, Needham and Sharon
