Marathon Run Program
Understanding Our Difference recently launched the Marathon Run Program. This program has created enthusiasm and support for our disability awareness programs and message of inclusion for people of all abilities.

Our runners make a personal commitment to undergo vigorous training throughout the year to prepare to run the Boston Marathon.  They raise money to support our programs and mission and spread their passion for UOD’s message of inclusion to their communities. Matt Stafford represented UOD in the 2015 Boston Marathon and Eric Navales represented UOD in the 2016 Boston Marathon.

The Mayor of Newton awarded Understanding Our Differences invitational applications for the Boston Marathon for the 2015 and 2016 Boston Marathons.

Rockland Trust sponsored our Marathon Run Program in 2016.
