We’re very pleased to announce that the City of Newton has awarded Understanding Our Differences with one of its 20 invitational Boston Marathon bibs.

And we’re thrilled to introduce you to Marie Walsh, who is running the Boston Marathon on Monday, April 21st to benefit UOD. She is a sophomore at Boston College who has a passion for supporting disability-related causes. From her statement, “I’m thrilled to be running the 129th Boston Marathon in support of Understanding Our Differences, an incredible organization dedicated to fostering acceptance and appreciation for people of all abilities.” You go, Marie!
